The Producers

“David Jones, the director of Witch Trinity, is taking a break from the blog as production intensifies.  This provides us with an opportunity to say a little about producing this exciting new series.
As independent producers we are really pleased to invest in what we know will be a real success.  Unlike the large production companies we are risking everything in making this production and unlike them we don’t have the advantage immediate access to newspapers, radio, TV or the movie theatres to help us in reducing this risk.
What we do have is you and an unshakeable belief that you’ll love the production.  What we need however is to reach as large an audience as possible and therefore ask you, no, beg you to please talk about Witch Trinity when ever you can.
If you have one or many friends then please let them know what we are doing.  If you know of opportunities where we can advertise and promote the show we would love to know.  Our ability to continue as independent producers relies on you.  Thank you.”

WITCH TRINITY – LIKES
We have launched our Witch Trinity Facebook page and we are really pleased that the page received 100 ‘Likes’ in the first few days.  We liked this and would like more.  We have therefore set a target of 1000 ‘Likes’.  If you are a Facebook user and have friends on Facebook then please join in with our 1000 ‘Likes’ campaign by visiting the page: www.facebook/witchtrinity and clicking the ‘Like’ button.   There is benefit in that, the more ‘Likes’ the more chance of us raising funds to finish making series one of Witch Trinity and so every ‘Like’ really helps.  Thank you.

The journey to the launch of the DVD

The production team

We are in the production stage.
We have completed eight days of shooting so far and already we are behind schedule.  The first day of shooting was interrupted by heavy rain and we ran out of time on the day three shoot.  This means an increase in cost and with an already tight budget this type of news is never welcomed.  However, we are undaunted and the cast and crew are enjoying the production experience and we are making great friends and contacts as we go around the various locations.

“Followers of the blog will be aware that we started shooting at the beginning of this month and things are really going well.   The crew and actors are excellent.  We filmed a fight scene at the weekend and it is fabulous and something to see.  Great action.   We also started shooting at the historic Temple Works in Leeds, a place used by the BBC and others, and the scenes really captured the mood.  A great choice.  And, the work we produced at Sainsbury’s cafĂ© in Moortown is funny and delivers the real world life we wanted.  It was also nice when we modified the script to include acting from two very young extras that wanted a chance to be stars. Great moments.
Witch Trinity is taking shape and we do appreciate the fantastic feedback and comments we’ve received.  We also like that the word about the show is spreading and we gathering followers.  As a director it is nice to know that there is an audience with expectations and I am looking forward to whowing each and everyone of them that watches these first two episodes.”

WITCH TRINITY – CHARITY REQUEST

Welcome to part 24.

The Director’s corner

David Jones, the director of Witch Trinity.
“If you visit the 2b Acting’s website you will see images of the three witches, Serena, Shorn and Delf, that ‘when joined’ are Witch Trinity.
I’m pleased to have these images as they are useful in portraying the look and feel of the world I’m attempting to create for the show.
Witch Trinity introduces fantastic characters with their hopes, challenges and dangers. Newly engaged, Serena and Simon are excited for their future. But while Simon works on convincing his mother that Serena is right for him, it is doubtful if Serena can juggle the demands of her daily reporter job with the alarming discovery that she is one of the three most powerful witches, known as Witch Trinity. As the two other witches of the trio, Shorn and Delf, struggle to understand why Witch Trinity has been called, an unexpected challenge comes from a witch they call ‘The Crow’, threatening their lives and the fate of the world. On "National News" the story of missing women leads Shorn, Delf and Serena into real danger as they are forced to do battle with a formidable opponent.  And in the background lurks a silent and unknown onlooker.  Will he be their greatest threat?  Witch Trinity is a fantastic fast paced journey into the challenges that come with the quest for survival and the first two episodes mark the start of an exciting new UK series.
As we progress we will be releasing more images and trailers so that you can share in the shows development.  All good.”

Witch Trinity – The Story Begins

Welcome to part 23.

The Director’s corner

David Jones, the director of Witch Trinity.
“At the first meeting with the cast, last Sunday, it was fantastic to be able to finally voice out loud, what I hope was not too bizarre or alarming, thoughts about Witch Trinity’s plot, characters and vision.  I was delighted that the telling of the story excited the team and their imagination to the point where we can’t wait to start work on creating what we all feel will be a great show for audiences to enjoy.
Now the hard work starts for them and I hope they are ready because I take the Directors role very seriously and want when you sit down and watch these episodes that they leave you fully entertained.  Yes, the backdrops will be stunning, the effects will be jaw dropping, the plot will be intriguing and the characters will be memorable but the promise I make to you, as the audience, is that the acting will be outstanding.   I‘ve watched too many shows where the acting is secondary and in my experience this immediately lets down a production.  On this note I am very pleased to say that the quality of the actors makes my promise to bring you great acting rather easy to keep.  I was pleased to meet the actors and I know I’ll be pleased to work with them and I know you’ll be pleased when you see what they do.”

Cast Interviews

We will be releasing short one minute cast interview clips across the internet starting the 1st May to coincide with the announcement of the Witch Trinity cast.   This is an opportunity for you to get to know the actors and their characters and perhaps ask questions that you would like them to answer.  We will be setting up character blogs so anything you ask and the answers will be posted… Witch Trinity comes to life.
A reminder that the opportunity to get your name down to be invited to the Witch Trinity launch event is running out.  The opportunity will close to the public at the end of May.  Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity as you may be disappointed as we allocate on a first come first served basis and you may not want to be at the back of the queue when we announce the cast.  To register visit our website – www.2bacting.com.

The journey to the launch of the DVD

The production team

We are in the production stage.
This week, with the help of the cast, we have secured the final locations and we are really excited to be shooting at Wyming Brook in Sheffield which is a beautiful location fulfilling the directors call for stunning backdrops and atmosphere and at Ponden Hall a fantastic period location steeped in real Yorkshire history, which is just perfect.

To give a special thank you to those that have helped us with locations we will be putting together a special information pack so you can read more about the locations we will be using.

Witch Trinity – The Riot Act

Witch Trinity – An exciting brand new DVD series is coming soon.  Based on truths, myths and legends the road from idea to screen is something worth blogging about…

Welcome to part 22.

The Director’s corner

David Jones, the director of Witch Trinity.
“One of the most eagerly anticipated new series, Witch Trinity, brings together some of the world’s most super natural facts, fiction, myths and legends in a jaw dropping mix of gripping plot, larger than life characters, razor sharp humour, mind blowing special effects and breath taking action.   Based on history, the story reveals the background to Witches. Who are they, their purpose and why were they persecuted and hunted almost to extinction by humans.
Sounds exciting and production finally starts this weekend with the first assembly of the cast.  A customary activity of mine is to read them the riot act which I do at the start of every production so that we are all clear about my likes and dislikes so we work well together and get the best performance possible.  After that it’s all creativity as we read through the scripts and develop characters that I know you will love – even the evil ones, before going on for a drink down the local pub to get to know each other.  Can’t wait.”

Radio Interview

We were very pleased to be invited by BCB Radio to announce the start of Witch Trinity production.  We’ve posted the interview for all those that missed it.
The interview talked about the production and the fact that you can influence the actors and perhaps how they play their characters.  We would very much like to hear from you if you have any super natural experience or if you are in fact a witch yourself.  We will post the more influential feedback on the character blogs that we are setting up.

The journey to the launch of the DVD

The production team

We are in the production stage.
The production team and actors all get together for the first time and so starting next week we will be posting weekly images as we progress through the shoot stages.   A real behind the scene look at the making of this brand new series.  From start to finish.
